A restaurant of central European delights. Historically, geographically and culturally our restaurant blends the cuisine from Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic- most of what is referred to as “German” food.
Chef Denise Mazal, Chef/Owner of Little Gretel, takes pride in preserving the traditional foods of her heritage. Her mother, also a chef, grew up in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and worked for over 50 years in the restaurant industry. Many of Chef Denise’s recipes were learned at her Mother’s side in the Czech Republic. She has refined these dishes to incorporate a newer, lighter fare in appreciation in today’s healthier life style. Collectively, Chef Denise and her daughter Veronica’s goal is to give you an extraordinary dining experience along with great service in a friendly atmosphere.
